Something to tide you over the times
2021 has been rough. So far. Hopefully it gets better.
Hello there, and I am Noah. A lot of things have happened seventy two days into 2021. Life hasn’t been going well for me, so yeah that explains the reason why I’m uploading less here.
A few weeks ago, I promised to give you a THE REVIEWS episode. I didn’t make it on time. A lot of bad incidents happened right up, and I didn’t have time to finish the review. Now, I am working on a fanfic too, so yea guess no more reviews til April 2021. Sad. I AM NOT STOPPING THOUGH. Just concentrating on other stuff. I’ve also updated YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE and MY THOUGHTS ABOUT, so go check them out if you haven’t.
Hopefully, if time permits, I can post the Tetris review and another review in April, with the latter coming one week after the former.
With that, here are some things I’m working on. Treat this as an update.
FANIFC
Release date is 23 April 2021, and it is approximately 18–20 chapters with 2.5k words each. Posted on Archive Of Our Own. I’ve worked really hard on this, so I do hope you support.
NAME CHANGE FOR ‘YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE’
You know, sometimes I think, ‘Hate might be too strong of a word.’ I might change the series name to YOU KNOW WHAT I DISLIKE. That might sound better. I don’t know, I’m still thinking about it.
And the big announcement…drum roll please…
THE REVIEWS VOICEOVER
Oh yes, you heard it right.
I was planning to shift my reviews over to voicing them out with relevant video clips, and then publishing them onto the YouTube channel. That includes the new ones I’m writing too. I’m still considering it, and it won’t happen so soon. Because number one, I’m still studying; I don’t think I’ll have much time to post a lot. Number two, a lot of my older reviews consist of either made-up characters or movie/show characters that I placed in to make a storyline for the review. And I can’t transfer that over to the real world. Don’t have the voice actors, don’t have the money, don’t have the copyright. So if I were to go along with this, I have to rewrite most of my reviews to give it a more general standpoint. My views won’t change much, so it isn’t that different.
Also, notice how some of my reviews are super long. Doki Doki Literature Club took 12 minutes, Epyx Games episode took 15 minutes, and the longest-to-date Perfect Blue took 18 minutes. It’s gonna be quite a long time.
Overall, I think I’ll do this, but not in the near future. Perhaps a year later or two. Who knows what the future will hold?
Anyway, this is a short update. I hope to bring more episodes of THE REVIEWS. I’ve owed you guys too long. Thanks for waiting, and see you next month.
